What did we do?
This week my partner and I implanted the first week of our intervention into our client. Our Client put her phone down 30 minutes before bed every night and instead read a book or spend time with her family, exercise for 30 minutes 5 times a week and download a meditation app. By her doing so, we collected the data and put it into a table which includes how much sleep she got, how long it took her to fall asleep and how stressed she feels from a 1-10.
Data we collected
| Week number | Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 |
| How much sleep she is got (approx.) | 7 hours | |||||
| How long it took for her to fall asleep (approx.) | 1 hour | |||||
| How stressed she felt, on a scale of 1-10 | 7 |
Client feedback
To ensure that everything went well this week, we asked our client many questions to get her opinion on what what went well or how we can improve. These are the questions we asked:
How do you like the intervention so far? “I think this week was good, it was quite simple and I couldn’t complete the exercise section. I am looking forward to doing meditation next week and exercising when my back starts to feel better.”
Are your stress levels down? “They are still quite high as I worried about my back and have been reading too much about Covid – 19 on social media.
Do you feel like your sleeping better? “I feel like I am sleeping better but could defiantly improve more”
What I think
I think so far our Intervention is going well. Though our client cannot exercise at the moment, we might change the Intervention slightly to fill her needs. The feedback we got was good, we know that she is enjoying the Intervention so far and is looking forward to continuing with our techniques.
I think that this week was successful as it didn’t take a fairly long time to fall asleep and her stress levels weren’t 10. We still have plenty of weeks to get her stress level to a lower number, so I think that for the first week of our Intervention, we did well.
